Excellent reference book!

I have taken courses and read other books on the topic of Gemmotherapy (the use of extracts from the buds of plants), but this is the best book I've read on the topic. The other books I read did not relate gemmotherapy within other systems of medicine, which limits the scope of use. however, this book does all that and much more! It relates gemmotherapy indications to other methods of medicine that use the same plants. However, the book isn't just for the natural health professional. Anyone with an interst in the healing properties of plants would find this book very interesting. The author writes in such a way that a health care professional or someone reading just for interest can easily understand the concepts. The book is well written (the author has extensive education and clinical experience). The book also has an index for suggested therapeutic applications.
I highly recommend this book and the other book written by the same author: Organotherapy, Drainage, and Detoxification.

Excellent book with very useful information!

This book has become my "bible" to treat anything. Written by a forward thinking doctor with an impressive list of credentials who has a thorough understanding of health and illness and who is able to think outside of the box to utilize new paradigms for the treatment of many common (and not so common) disorders that are presently managed with medications. Gemmos offer nice and gentle alternatives! Especially finding a remedy for Vitiligo, which is currently impossible to treat. This book deserves more like 10-12 stars!

An excellent book

THere are few gemmotherapy books in English even though this modality is gaining popularity in the USA. I like his holistic approach and his credentials are remarkable. I enjoy all his research.
